In this module, we are going to explore the options of gaining some work experience and making sure that you have the correct approach to find work experience, but also managing your learning. Many universities will shortlist students who can demonstrate some form of experience prior to applying to medical school.
The work experience can take many forms and can be formal or informal and doesn’t always need to be related to some ‘medical’ context. Tutors are looking to understand your personality through your work experience, not just the knowledge that you may have gained.
